Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a passion for the dynamic world of iGaming? We are a leading iGaming supplier, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions and innovative experiences to our global clients. We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices
• Conduct monthly and yearly financial close processes, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to aid in decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes, optimize efficiency, and implement controls
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing accurate and timely financial data
• Participate in audits and work closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and successful outcomes
• Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators, highlighting trends and addressing potential risks or opportunities
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and accounting standards, and ensure their integration into financial processes
• Provide financial guidance and support to the management team while sprinkling fun accounting-related puns along the way

Requirements:

• Proven professional experience of at least 3 years in accounting
• ACCA Certification or equivalent (University degree in Accountancy or equivalent)
• Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably within the iGaming industry or related sectors
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations (GAAP, IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with iGaming-specific platforms is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis and modeling
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide valuable insights
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the integrity of financial information
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
• Self-driven and always seeking to develop yourself further
• Excellent sense of humor, the ability to keep a straight face during tax season jokes, and a knack for turning accounting jargon into witty one-liners
